In the midst of planning a trip for July and now getting around to making reservations, priority seatings, advanced reservations with preference, dining engagements, or whatever they're called now.

One morning, we would love to crack a park early, then have a late table-service breakfast around 10:30 or 11 either in the park or at a resort. We would like to avoid character meals and the myriad buffets.

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend.

We always do this on our Magic Kingdom day. We go to the park early, then around 10:00 we take the monorail over to the Polynesian for a good breakfast at the Kona Cafe! Their food is very good and the coffee is wonderful! :sunny:

After breakfast we either go back to the MK, or take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to an Epcot monorail and spend the rest of the day there.

I've always enjoyed the breakfast at Kona Cafe at the Poly. I also like the Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary (love the stickey-things). Nothing beats having breakfast and watching the monorail come and go. Sometimes it gets a little loud due to its proximity to Chef Mickey's, but it never bothered me. I haven't been in years, but I remember enjoying breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe too. All 3 places are an easy monorail ride from MK.
