Help with Boy middle name.

Brady Lucas sounds nice

Hope not to step on toes - but Brady Alexander sounds too much like Brandy Alexander to me - an old person drink if I remember my concoctions correctly from my waitressing days - probably not too many would make that connection tho - lol

hey i like brandy alexanders and i'm not that old :rotfl: but seriously, you do have to take into consideration how names can be slaughtered or used for teasing (by other kids)-in my old line of work we saw thousands of birth certificates and there was lots we referred to as "demerol decisions" (mom must have been on demerol when she filled out the birth certificate :rotfl2:)- a few choice ones were:

his royal majesty
my prescious (this was a boy's name)
chasetitty (i think she was going for chastity :) )
(the twins) lemonjello and orangejello (yup, lemon and orange jello)
but the worst was:

fonda. (o.k. not bad, but when your a girl with the last name of "cox" ).

First of all congratulations  My first thought was Scott but I don't know if you would want BS for initials :rolleyes1 I like Thomas, Patrick, Phillip, and Lee just to name a few.

Terri

How about
Brady Aidan
Brady Callum
Brady Conrad

My sister and I must both like one syllable middle names (I have a Paige and a Brooke- I have girls), but she has a BRADY PAUL! Sounds nice when she yells it. :rotfl:

How about .....
Brady Everett
Brady Kai
Brady Ian
Brady Kyle
Brady Creed
Brady Devyn
Brady Patrick
Good luck! :flower:

How about Conner (also spelled Connor)

Much joy and happiness to you and your new baby! Let us know what you finaly decide

Nicholas!

Sorry, but that just doesn't "yell" well. Remember, this name will be used when you're upset. "Brady Nicholas, get your dying butt in this house this instant" -- See, it just doesn't roll off the tongue as well as some of the other choices. Nicholas works well for a first name as you'll probably get that out clearly, but it'll trip you later up as your blood pressure rises. :rolleyes1

I remember when someone asked our Evan what his middle name was. He didn't know until mommy followed up asking him "what we called him when we were upset with him." "Evan Matthew" was his quick reply...

This is a good point! When we were naming our son someone told us to go out in the backyard and yell the full name over and over. It really helped us to "hear" the name in a new light. We went with my maiden name for our son's middle name (which is also now my middle name and just happens to be a traditional first name for boys). I saw that you didn't like the flow of your maiden name, so that won't work for you!

Sorry for the hijack - back on topic. Some combinations I didn't see mentioned yet:

Brady Keagan (pronounced KEE-gan)
and
Brady Ellis

I think those both sound like the names of a cool kid!

Both my sons have their father's first name for their middle name.

I have a thing against jr.'s but still wanted to recognize my husband. BTW, how come girls aren't named after their mothers/grandmothers the way boy's are their fathers???

::MinnieMo

My daughters both have family names DD#1 is Keri Elissa (Carey is my father's name I just spelled it different so they were not confused on paper)

DD#2 is Lillian Elisabeth (I named her after my grandmother on mom's side and Elisabeth is DH's mom's name also Dh's great aunt was Elizabeth Lillian, but we didn't know that until after we picked the name) We call her Lilli!!!

Brady Andrew?
Brady Donovan?
(Congratulations!!! Wish you much happiness!)
