Help with bounce back, please.

We are at WDW right now and want to use the bounce back but won't be coming back until late February or maybe April of 2014. Disney hasn't announced the dates of the 2014 bounce back yet. I called and asked if I could book a time in December and then when disney releases the 2014 dates switch it to the dates we wanted, I was told this is not possible. Does anyone know if this is true? It seems to me the people on these boards know more than most disney employes I talk to on the phone. I was thinking of booking the days in December and trying to switch later, if its not possible then canceling. Can I do this or would I lose a deposit? Thanks in advance.

Each bounce back offer has a set range of dates. It's been my experience you cannot move a bounce back reservation to dates outside that range. We have been able to move dates but they still fell within the original range.

You won't lose your deposit on a room only reservation if you cancel it at least five days before the arrival date.

I doubt that Disney would allow you to switch your 2013 bounce back to a 2014 bounce back. Discounts are usually limited to a certain time period and extensions aren't usually given. But you could book a room with the current BB offer just in case they change their policy.

This is exactly right! You can only move your dates within the date range that is listed on your BB. You cannot move your dates to the following year.
