Help with booking/Disney Visa

I want to book with the room only discount in June. When I price it, it also offers buying your park tickets with it. Then when you add park tickets, it has the option to add dining.

I have only done packages before. What I want to know is how much will I have to pay at booking? Do I pay for the park tickets right away? Is there a deposit on the room? When do I pay for the room?

If I put the room and tickets on my Disney Visa, I don't get 0%, right? Because it's not a package?

If you book a package (room+tickets+dining plan or not, but minimum room+tickets), you pay a $200 deposit. Balance due 45 days out. You must have a package to add dining.

If you book a room-only, you pay a deposit of one night's stay. Balance due at check-in.

You can only get the 0% Visa offer if you book a package.

Cancellations are different between room-only and packages, and packages also come with a few discount vouchers and luggage tags.

So if I book a room and buy tickets together on the website today, is that a package or not?

Not the OP here, but.....
Hope you don't mind if I jump in here with a question? So, the 0% wouldn't apply if I book a room only discount? I am getting 2 rooms one will be the kids stay and play free, the other is the room only discount.
??? What if I add tickets on to the room only? Would that work? Is their a minimum days on the tickets?

Thanks

I just took it one step further on the website with room and tickets. It is calling it a package with a $200 deposit and says I will get the luggage tag, arcade card, etc. So I think in my case I will get 0%.

Glad you got your answer - I didn't really know and was going to tell you to try it out and see what you could determine. I assumed since it was offering you the dining plan, it was considered a package once you added the tickets. But I don't know if that's always the case or not - that piece has always been a bit confusing to me.

To the PP - AFAIK, you can't get the Visa financing unless it's a Disney vacation package, it states that right on the Chase Disney Visa website pages if I recall right. And it's not a package unless it includes at least room and tickets.

Does that mean if you book an AP rate with dining it doesn't qualify for 0%?

I know it's a package, but I wish they would make the terms more clear. I plan on paying my trip in full before we go, but it would be nice to know in case there was need whether or not to consider it an option.

It *does* qualify for the 0% for 6 months financing.

Also, if anyone else is reading this and it applies, if you book a military rate + dining package, it also is a package and qualifies.
