Good Morning,
I have been reading the Wyndham Bonnet Creek thread, but cannot find exactly what I am looking for. We will be staying there for the first time in a couple of months. I know that requests are not guaranteed, but I will at least try. The two things that are most important to us are 1) close parking... we do have a handicap plate for my daughter. Will this help? It seems now even the handicap spots fill up. And... we reaallly want a theme park/fireworks view. We will be in a 2 bdrm deluxe. Which tower should we request? And when should we do it?
Thanks in advance!!

We have stayed in a few of the buildings. My feeling is Building 2 or 3 would be a good choice for you. You can request an upper floor fireworks view and see what happens. I like these towers because if you are lucky enough to get a lake view, you can usually see fireworks.

1. Yes, the handicap spots often fill up. If you return early from the parks, parking likely won't be an issue. If you return late, you'll have to park further away. There is a nice area to drop off right in front of the door if you feel the parking is too far.

2. There is no way to guarantee a view. It's luck of the draw. You can request when you check in, however they pulled the plug on the call-ahead crowd.

We found the close handicapped parking spots full more often than not when we returned to the resort. We even had to park in the garage once. As mentioned above, drop off may be your best option.

If a fireworks view is one of the most important things for an enjoyable stay, I wouldn't take a chance. I'd stay on Disney property in one of the hotels where you could at least walk to a place to see the fireworks. It is very iffy at Bonnet Creek.

We stayed in bod 2 over Xmas and parking was not an issue. If the hc spots are full, the other spaces were nearby. If needed you can drive up to lobby door. . Bld 2 was in great shape ask for lake view for fireworks view from disney.
