Help with BLT stay

We will be going for our 1st DVC stay 9/23 and the 1st 2 days will be at BLT. I am unclear about the lounge and fireworks viewing. Where is the best place to be and what is the protocal? Thanks!

You check in at the desk in the BLT lobby, first come, first served. The Cast Member will put you on a elevator to the viewing area.
