Help with blog design?

My travel blog has yet to be personalized, and I was hoping you creative designers could help.

Right now it looks like this - www.victoriaonvacation.blogspot.com

I'd like the banner title to stretch all the way out and fill the top of the screen. I just put that picture up to give it some style.

I was hoping for a jet-setter look. Something pink and yellow.

I really like this image.

If you could make her smaller and put her on a background so it looks like she's walking through different travel destinations like Walt Disney World, Las Vegas, the beach, cruise ship, etc.

I don't know, but you guys are all amazing, and I'm sure you'll come up with something fabulous!

Here's a try.

It is saved in an 8.5 by 11 inch size. It is very hard to judge what size of header you need for your blog without first having a reference of size. You may need to try posting this in your blog so that we can get a look at it and know how to adjust the size. That is of course if you like it. Or you may already know the size (heighth and width) of your header. If you do and can post the dimensions we will adjust it for you. If there is something you do not like about the design, we are more than happy to try and fix it. I am sure you will get others to respond. I think it's just vacation time for lots of disers.

I too couldn't tell the dimensions and gave it a guess. It looks kind of small when I look at it now. Hmmm..

I just found that the header size is 692px wide by 160px high.

For some reason, I must have a title.

As you can see, the title cuts off the girl's head.

I was wondering if you could make the banner a little wider and move the girl over so her head isn't covered.

Hmmm... It's still showing up a bit small. I did figure out how to make the other title go away, though.

Uggg... now I've totally screwed it up! I reverted to the Classic Template, and now I can't change it back!
