Hi all just back from the Fort again and hope you all can help with an improvement to the fireworks at the beach. I am sure that everyone loves  them like me. The only thing I miss is the music that goes with them. Why can't we have what the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian have? If any of you agree please E-mail or write to WDW like I did to try to convince them. The address is WDW Guest Communications,PO Box 10040,Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 or https://secure.disney.go.com/wdw/contact/contactUs?id=ContactUsPage Music, fireworks and the beach at Fort Wilderness, Heaven.:cloud9:

Des1954 mentioned a couple of months back about behind a certain loop or area at the Ft that had a great view of the fireworks and DID have the shows music piped in.

DEB, am I right about this, or was I halucinating from licking the back of that frog again?

Whenever we were ther last April, we could hear the music to the fireworks. I thought they have speakers at the beach area. Am I losing it because we heard the music along with this, or was that just music in my head. :scared1:

Go behind loop 300 I think, that's where the horse and buggy go to watch them, and there is a speaker there.

I think thats where Des said it was, John....behind 300!!!

Yes, there is definitely a spot on the beach where there are speakers to hear the fireworks music! I know they have a lot of technical problems with the speakers, so there are many nights they are just not working. But, they're there and if you're lucky, you'll hear the music! :goodvibes

Thanks everyone but I did know about the one behind the 300 loop, I was thinking more about the dock area near the tables and hammocks. On some nights you can hear the music directly from the Magic Kingdom without speakers.

Yea, on the dock area they do have speakers that play the music, as Rhonda mentioned though, they have a tendency to not always work. They probably haven't replaced those speakers in years, so it's kind of a hit or miss as to whether or not you'll hear the music.

No, there are no speakers at the dock. (Sorry Chris). The only place where the sound is piped in is the area behind the 300 loop where the hayride stops to watch the fireworks. To get there, go to site 328 & hang a right, cross the bridge & head straight to the beach (about 1/8mile walk). You cannot take your golf cart back there - but there's enough room behind 328 to park. I've been going there since 2002 & have only experienced the speakers "crapping out" only 2 or 3 times. I usually take my lawn chairs & a beverage of choice!!

If you are at FtW on Christmas, New Year's Eve, or July 4th - you'll get a treat of panoramic fireworks!! Gotta see 'em to believe 'em! IMHO, the only place to watch the panoramics are from the beach behind the 300 loop!!!

Y'all are so totally awesome :worship:
Is the Pirate Princess Party fireworks at 9:45 going to have music as well?

We have been on the beach and heard the music. We haven't heard it in a while, but it has been on the beach. I know they have speakers behind the 300 loop, but I'm not talking about there.

lol, I've listened to the music on the docks many a time. Now, I don't know if they don't have them anymore, or if they stopped doing it, but they definitely at one time were playing music on the docks at the Fort :)
