Help with BCV floor plans - 2br

I've noticed that for some of the 2 bedrooms, the door connecting to the second bedroom will be in the living room and for others it will be near the villa entry door in the vestibule. Why the difference? I've also noticed that some of the second bedrooms don't have a balcony - just one off the living and one (separated) off the master.

If my preference is a 2br villa with the second bedroom door being in the vestibule and one large balcony connecting all 3 rooms, then what should I be requesting? Can you tell that I'm not particular at all? ;)

Thank you!!!

Best I can recommend is to politely see if MS can note exactly that in your reservation and then cross your fingers. :cutie:

There might only be 2-4 rooms with that configuration (I have no idea but that's my guess since there aren't a lot with the full length balconies) and maybe you'll luck out but I would not count on receiving one.

I had the same question and I think I figured it out. I was watching BCV videos on youtube and noticed the difference of the connecting door. If you look at the floor plan you can see in rooms 434 and 454 the shape of the building creates an odd shape so the connecting door is in the living room.

The 2 BRs on the bends of the building are differently shaped than all others, which requires the connecting door to be in the living room.

It is worth noting that on (at least some of) those rooms, there are also not 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom, but a queen and sofa bed. I have stayed in 434. These are dedicated 2 BRs.

Did you request a dedicated 2 BR, did you request 2 Queens? Those factors will also impact whether you would get one of those rooms as well.

Of course, I can't speak for ALL rooms, only the ones I've been in and the ones I've read about here.

This information is really helpful. THanks for the diagram and explanation. This will certainly help when it comes time to putting in my room request.

Thanks!

The accessible two BR lockoffs also have the connecting door in the living room.

I had room 278 which had a balcony across all three rooms. The room was overlooking the canal which you could get a view of the gator living in the water. It was a dedicated 2 bedroom and I would ask for that room from floor 2 and up.asking for a even number room would be your best chance at a good room. The room you don't wan't is the 2 bedrooms overlooking the service entrance. My last Beach Club stay I had a 1 bedroom #209 which only had 1 balcony and was over the entrance which was a lousy room. good luck

Good to know! We've always used our balconies extensively so the view is important to us too. A service entrance would be a bummer! Thanks for the heads up.

Appreciate all the great feedback I'm getting!
