Help with AP

We are going to the pin event at EPCOT in September. It starts at 9:30am at the World Showplace in EPCOT. My son needs to get his annual pass so he can use it for the event, but he does not live in FL and he does not arrive until 10:30PM the night before the event. We are staying at the Beach Club. Any ideas on how to get the annual pass and be able to get into the entrance at the International Gateway?? How early is guest relations open at the international gateway? For the pin event, they usually let people into EPCOT very early to line up over at the entrance to world showplace via the international gateway entrance....... I will be there a day early and I can't see how I could get him his pass even though I will have a voucher for it. (He is an adult)....

Any great ideas?

For the pin event, they usually let people into EPCOT very early to line up over at the entrance to world showplace via the international gateway entrance...

1. He can get it at the ticket booth or Guest Relations outside the International Gateway.

2. Should be open between 7:30 and 8:00AM.

Have you already purchased the voucher? Could you just buy him a ticket and upgrade to an AP during the trip when you aren't rushed?

Interesting question! Can you buy a ticket for an adult without the adult being present? I thought that would be the same problem...

If it's just a regular ticket (not a FL Resident or AP,) anyone can buy a ticket and give it to anyone else.

Can you convert a regular ticket into a FL resident annual pass? So you think I could just buy a 3 day ticket when I get there and convert it to a FL annual pass? He could use the 3 day and then convert to a FL annual pass? That would mean that he would only need to be there when the 3 day was upgraded to the AP?

If he is not a FL resident, he cannot get the FL resident AP. You can purchase the 3 day ticket and it can be upgraded to a regular AP. If he is 18 or older the CM will need to see his photo ID when he upgrades.
