our room is not a room with a view.

Savanna view and standard view rooms are identical at Jambo. The only big difference is what is visible from your balcony.

That video is of refurbished rooms and was taken in March, 2019.

Based off my last visit it seems renovations are still in the works. When you check in just be sure to request a renovated room, I am sure they will do their best to get you one. However, the non renovated rooms are also still pleasant so I would not worry too much.
