Help with AKL info...

We leave for AKL in 57 days and I wanted to add a room location request to the reservation. Can anyone please give me some incite on a good place to be at AKL Jambo?.

What view do you have booked? Savanna? Ask for Arusha Savanna. Standard - nothing much to request there. Value - no requests are permitted.

And unless you got Concierge level, you'll be on the fifth floor. So no request there.

Yicks! Im more concerned about location I guess. It will be Feb. so probably not much swimming. I guess with two little ones just close to the main lobby? I thought I had read to request a room close by near the buses or lobby so you didnt get put out in the boonies? Its standard view.

Standard view at Jambo is largely pool view, with a few reclassified partial savanna view rooms. And February may well be warm enough to swim, especially since you are from Michigan.

I like the Zebra trail, but others prefer something different. Boonies are more a concern at Kidani.
