Help With Airfare To Europe?

We are considering an Adventure By Disney to Europe, but the air fare is OUTRAGIOUS! Does anyone have any tips or expierience on finding reasonable air over the pond? Any international dings, etc? Thank you for any help that can be offered!

When and where? Your from and too and month make a BIG difference.

Airfare in the summer runs about $1,000, but you can sometimes get a better price. I got my Girl Scouts trip last year for just under $800 each and I was happy (I budgeted $950)

Europe's a BIG place (it's a whole continent in fact). Where are your origin and destination?

My flight LHR (London) to MIA and return DTW to LHR cost $1200 including taxes, in August. That's coach class with British Airways.

Thanks for your thoughts. We are looking at flying from JFK, Newark or Philadelphia to Italy, preferably in July or August.

Hmm... That's not going to be cheap.

One suggestion is to fly to London and then take a "budget' airline to Italy. However, there are drawbacks. The budget airlines tend to use a different airport which basically means a day in London and the budget airlines have VERY strict luggage requiements.

Does Disney offer to book airfare? They might get a group rate which is better then yours.
