help with ADRs

Sorry to bring up a subject that I know has been rehashed a ton, I am online right now trying to make my ADR's for November and it's asking me for my confirmation number. I have a reservation number, but when I put that in I get a message saying that it doesn't recognize my reservation.

So obviously the reservation number I am pulling from the dvcmember.com site is different; where do I get my confirmation number?
 
The reservation number and confirmation number are the same thing and is what you should use on line to make dining reservations. If it is not recognizing your number then either there is a system problem with your number that you will need to call to have corrected or you are not 180 days (180 days not 6 months which is longer than 180 days because May, July and August have 31 days, i.e., today, May 17, is 183 days from Nov 17) or less from time of arrival
 
I had a lot of trouble last month booking at 180 days +10 online with my DVC reservation. It kept taking the number but not letting me make the ADR because I did not have a reservation but when I went to enter it again, it would say it did have it. I gave up and just added my ADR's each day over the week. If I had had anything that was tough to get I would have called.
 
I am within the 180 days. It's not recognizing the number. I will keep trying, thanks for the feedback. At least I know now that I am not looking for a different number.

One more try and I guess I'll call....
 

Really frustrating. I made 3 nights of ADR's, and got a message for the 4th night that "we noticed you are making a reservation outside of 180 days, please enter your confirmation number". So, I did. It took, and I made a reservation for the subsequent two nights. I closed the browser by accident, and went back in. The two nights were not listed in my existing reservations, and again it's asking me for the reservation number. I entered it, and now again I am getting an error message.

And now it's working....


And now it's not. Now it's letting me make a reservation but when I book the time it says "Unable to add to cart, please try again". I'm giving up in about 30 seconds...!
 
So it's a split stay issue. Since we are moving resorts on the 4th night, it's not recognizing my stay as continuous. I can't make reservations for the second 5 nights even though it's the same confirmation number and it's a continuous stay. So it's treating our trip as two trips.

I'm sure this has come up 1000 times, I can't believe they couldn't fix this easily.

Amazing. What really stinks is that anybody with a continuous stay can make reservations and we are stuck making them each day, and hoping that we will get what we want.
 
We have two rooms tied to one reservation that have staggered check-in dates (same check-out date). I had problems trying to make an ADR when the 180 day window opened for the earliest check-in date. Since I was only trying to make 1 ADR and it was for Sanaa, I waited until 180 days from dining to make it.
