I am so nervous. It is hard for me because i live in sydney australia and there is absolutely no information available about disney. I am so greatful for these boards. I call reservations yesterday as it is exactly 180 days until i arrive but they said that i cant place my adr's for another 6 days!.

I have never been to DW as a guest, in 2000 i worked there asa cast member as part of an exchange program so i am really excited but i feel completely unprepared.

We have made the decision to do the DDp as we think it is good value for us. COnsidering it costs $6000 to get to WDW from Australia i am worried about the money but i figyure i am only going t do this once so i may as well do it properly. My husband is a coeliac (gluten free) so this way we dont have to worry about food.

Here are my reservations i am planning to book. How do they sound?

2nd January Cape May Café (TS) 7pm
3rd January Chef Mickey’s (TS) 8:30pm
4th January Le Cellier (TS) 8pm
5th January 1900 Park Fare (TS) 7:30pm
6th January Chefs de France (TS) 7pm
7th January Planet Hollywood (TS) 7:30pm
8th January Crystal Palace (TS) 7am (early as poss)
9th January Whispering Canyon Café (TS) 7:30pm
10th January Restrantasaurus (TS) 7am (early)
11th January Boma (TS) 7pm( Our Wedding Anniversary)
12th January Ohana (TS) 8 am

What time can i make reservations for Ohana's, Restrantasaurus and Crystal Palace on non EMH days? I decided to make these on nonEMH days as i thought i would have more chance of being in the park when it is empty to take good photos of the castle etc. Is this a good strategy?

Sorry it has turned into a bit of an essay!!!!

thanks for your help and advice

love jess

One thing I would get rid of Planet Hollywood and do Captain Jacks which is also in Downtown Disney.
I think you have to be within 180 days for each of the days you are getting an ADR. But calling that far out you should have no problem getting whatever place or time you want.
Here is a good site to check the menus of restaurants.

Hi! You are going to love it!
Those all sound great. I am not sure about the Planet Hollywood for the Celiac concern. I would look into that a bit more.

We ate at two of the restaurants on your list and I listed pictures of what we ate in my sig below. We ate gluten free, like your husband. We were so happy with the food choices for gluten free dining! In fact, I think it was even BETTER (if that is possible!).

You really have some great ADRs. I will look forward to hearing more about how your trip went. You're going in January?
We're going back in November and we'll have tried a couple more of those ADRs on your list (gluten free, of course!)
