Help with ADR plan selections advice

So i got about 2 weeks before i need to make adr for our September trip(whew gonna be hot!)......with have 8 ddp credits total per person.....I’m pretty much happy with everything except I think I do want to change Hollywood and Vine......And I’m having second thoughts on Garden Grill we really don’t need that many character meals....... I could also be willing to change 1900 Parkfare if another restaurant around Mk (OR really basically almost anywhere since the park closes that day at six)sounds interesting...... i’m just wanting to cut out some of the buffets or the all you can eat places with characters mainly because were already going to see characters at a few other ADRs already and the food is usually not quite as good as the sit downs and we eat too much lol....... and could possibly do no sit down restaurant the last Saturday(we are leaving to drive back home around three or four-ish)and use that extra credit somewhere else during the week to do a two credit meal(I don’t think I wanna do 2 sit down meals in one day we like our park-time)
Fyi we do not wanna use credits on breakfast my husband is not a big breakfast person he likes meats and vegetables

Sunday Epcot Akershus lunch/dinner(probably lunch so my girls are looking their freshest for pics LOL)

Saturday AK 10:30 Tusker House(hoping to get a little breakfast and lunch) We really enjoy Tusker House.

Sunday Epcot Akershus lunch/dinner(probably lunch so my girls are looking their freshest for pics LOL) We enjoy Akershus.

Monday MK HoopDeeDoo after 6 pm(mk closes at 6 for party) 6:15 show time? We love Hoop Dee Doo-Keep this!

Teusday HS Mama Melrose Fantasmic package lunch/dinner We haven't eaten here in many years.

Wednesday Epcot Garden grill lunch/dinner We also enjoy Garden Grill - love the characters and the food.

Thursday AK Restaurantosoures adr burger/icecream(we really liked this last trip)

Friday MK 1900 ParkFare dinner after 6 (mk closes at 6) We enjoy 1900 Park Fare but also love Grand Floridian Cafe or The Wave at the Contemporary. If you want a 2 TS credit - consider California Grill. Also a new character meal at Artist Point at WL - Snow white and characters.

Saturday HS Hollywood Vine breakfast or lunch(leave for home 3ish) I would choose Sci Fi or Brown Derby - both better than Hollywood and Vine

See my ideas in red. You have some good character meals but definitely more than we do in a trip. I would say try a Signature restaurant. Enjoy whatever you do.

I had thought about Cali grill or possibly Topolinos for dinner, but is there a dress code? Thought could hop over to Topolinos instead of garden grill on our Epcot day or Cali instead of 1900

It is not a fancy dress code. Look it up - you can wear nice shorts and a collared shirt. for a man . No bathing suits, etc. We are trying Topolino's on our trip this summer.

No no, no!!! Youre trading the wrong ones!! OK...Ill give my opinion, for what its worth.....

Saturday AK 10:30 Tusker House(hoping to get a little breakfast and lunch) - Not too bad of a choice. Will you have a car? If so, Id opt for Boma instead, unless characters are a big deal for you. Without a car, keep TH.

Monday MK HoopDeeDoo after 6 pm(mk closes at 6 for party) 6:15 show time? - Yuck, though a million people like it. Not sure why. Show is corny and food is horrible. I much prefer Spirit of Aloha, especially either going to the MK via monorail after or watching the MK fireworks from the Poly beach....or use these 2 credits for Cali Grill. You dont have to super fancy dress up! Just look nice. Tons of different attire there from suits/dresses to Khaki shorts/polo shirt and a casual sun dress.

Teusday HS Mama Melrose Fantasmic package lunch/dinner - Hard no. Id rather Hollywood and Vine if you want a 1 credit package...plus the characters are always in seasonal cute outfits!

Wednesday Epcot Garden grill lunch/dinner - Triple Yuck! My goodness, youre in Epcot!! So many unbelievable restaurants and this has to be the worst of them all! There are really no good character options here, other than Akershus, which youre already doing. Maybe try Beirgarten where they can dance on stage. Tappan Edo is pretty good where the chef cooks in front of you! Quite entertaining. Chef De France...just say sorry kids, this one is for me! Or go out the back entrance and take a ferry (or walk 4 minutes) over to Beach Club to Beaches and Cream. Youre girls will love it.

Thursday AK Restaurantosoures adr burger/icecream(we really liked this last trip) - No opinion here, Ive never done counter service at Disney. I refuse to carry a tray or wash a table when Im on vacation

Saturday HS Hollywood Vine breakfast or lunch(leave for home 3ish) - Do the H & V dinner package earlier in the trip and on this day try Sci-Fi or 50's PT.

Or stick with your original plan Only you know your families taste buds and where you feel comfortable eating. I got hundreds of people telling me how great Trails End is. Literally not one bad comment, and I hated it...so we all have our own opinions.
