Help with abbreviations

I'm new to the Disboards. Can someone help me out with all these abbreviations? DD, DH, PS and so on. Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome! Where do I find the countdown timer also? Sorry, but I'm just a newbie!

Go to the Tech Support Board (towards the end of the drop down list) for the countdown timer...there's a thread called "Get your countdown timers here.." or something like that...if you don't see it just ask. It's real easy to set up.

Somewhere on the home page? is a link to all the abreviations. It takes a while to learn them...or it did me....if you need to know any more of them, feel free to send me a private message and ask, I'd be glad to help.

My Goodness! I thought they were abbreviations for Disney Husband, Disney Wife.. etc. I never thought about Dear Husband/Wife. I'm so silly. Here I was thinking everyone (including me) just wanted to stress their love for the Mouse and that they identified with Walt himself.

My goodness... this changes my whole perspective. Wow. "Dear husband", "Dear wife". I just can't get over that...

I see that you've mastered the countdown timer!

Also, on the abbreviations, for what it's worth, in my head I always think "Disney Husband" and "Disney Sons" for DH and DS's. It might not work on other forums but it's right on the mark here.

Thanks for the welcome Penny! I finally found out what most of these abbreviations stand for. I was stuck on PS for a while. Everyone on the Disboard has been very helpful.
