Reading some of the threads on this page has my head spinning. I'm certain there must be a key for the common abbreviations I'm seeing over and over, but I can't find it. Help, please!

Brings back memories of how confused I was when I first found the DIS way back in the beginning of 2008. I had no idea what anyone was talking about lol.

Thanks. Looks like there are some new ones now being used that aren't on the list. I did figure out BOG, Be Our Guest as that is all over the Restaurant board. What threw me the most was a thread title listed here this morning, "
PPO BOG and SDMT not on EMM morning" Is EMM different than EMH, extra magic hours?

It's really good that I'm planning a year in advance. I am soooooo lost. Our last trip was 2010 and there are so many changes and new attractions, lands, restaurants. It's overwhelming.

Translation:
Pre-Park Opening Be Our Guest and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train not on Early Morning Magic morning. :-)

I would like to suggest adding XDW and XDH for those of us who refer to past trips with them..."ex wives and husbands"

I've seen many posts with them mentioned sometimes good and sometimes not so good...

Can be frustrating when some post nothing BUT abbreviations lol!

I agree, with some it seems like everything they post is an acronym, abbreviation or some kind of disney jargon. If I can't figure out what they are talking about when reading the thread title, I just ignore it and move on to the next one. It is particularly annoying for those who are new since the main reason we joined is to learn about disney. I honestly don't think it takes any longer to type out words instead of those acronym strings.
