Help guys - I wrote everyone last week when the new codes came out because for my dates just about NOTHING was available - only one mod, no deluxes, one timeshare, etc. - you get the picture. Anyway, someone suggested (I think Maverick) that maybe I book part of the package as a package and then get the additional nights as room only's and put them together - even if I have to pay a bit more for the room only's.
So here's what I have right now - at AKL - I can book the YQc or YQE package for the first four nights - 11/29,30,12/1 and 12/2 and I can book 12/4 and 12/5 as room only and get my AAA discount too - som I'm paying a little more for them but still getting something. But - for 12/3, I can't find a room ANYWHERE. Disney says they are sold out and AAA just takes the inventory from Disney and discounts it and they are therefore sol out for that night too. I've checked Travelocity, Expedia, Tripreservations.com, Bookit.com, Southwest.com etc. and they all say that the hotel is booked for 12/3. So it must be - duh. I'm not a travel agent, but I thought that sometimes certain tour operators have some rooms at given hotels in their packages or whatever ready to sell. i.e. Even if the hotel is booked up - the outside tour operators or whoever, may have some of the rooms left. Does anyone know anything about this? And, if so, who these places might be so I can look for one room at the AKL on 12/3? Thanks. (This is entirely too much work!!)
