help with a present idea for a 30 year old man

My neighbor is the most helpful generous person you could ever meet. He and my dh have been very close friends the last couple of months. He turns 30 on Thursday and his wife is having the surprise party at our house. What is a good present for a 30 year old man that has basically everything he wants? Thank you for your help.

Movie tickets for a night out with his wife......

A gift basket themed to one of his likes.... (hunting, sports, etc.) You can do food and a gift card... maybe apparel......

GC to favorite restaurant.....

Does he drink? Perhaps a high end bottle of scotch or whiskey or whatever he likes. One that he would not necessarily buy for himself. Maybe some fancy cigars?

If they have kids, taking the kids for an evening is very valuable.

If he participates in a particular sport, perhaps a GC to a place where he can get equipment for that sport. If he has a favorite team or player, maybe a hat or jersey of the team or player.

The problem with this guy is he has a lot of money. Whatever he wants he buys. His kids are 13 and 10 so they are old enough to stay home alone. I don't know a whole lot about him and dh isn't giving any suggestions. I don't think he ever takes his wife out. they like to stay around the house from what I can tell.

doesn't matter if has money and buys what he wants...it's always the thought that counts (and I know my DH LOVES gift cards to lowe's or home depot...always come in handy when doing those odd jobs around the house!)

Ask the wife for some suggestions. It might be a party where presents are expected. If not, how about a round of golf at the local course.

I agree with everyone else. Round of golf, gift card (driving range, a local restaurant, starbucks, an electronics place) a nice box of cigars, high end liquer, tickets to a game...

Thank you eveyone for you help. We ended up getting him a jeresy, a few gag gifts, and jager and redbull(not sure if that is how you spell it)but it is what he likes. I don't know why because it tastes like robutussin. They were 14 and 15 when they had thier first child. I don't know how they did it!
