Help with a California Grill Strategy

So, I'm interested in going to California Grill during my December visit. But, I'm really only interested in dessert. None of the entrees interest me, especially for those prices; I could see myself possibly getting a sushi roll, but again, am unsure if it's worth it! So I am thinking dessert + fireworks (maybe a drink). It would be a solo meal.

But now I'm trying to decide how to time it and what day to do it. I could do it on a Friday when they have Holiday Wishes or a Saturday when it will be Happily Ever After. I have seen HEA a couple times from the garden plaza area and love it, and will have gone to MVMCP and seen the fireworks prior to this meal. Do people have a serious preference for which show is better to see from above?

And for the time of day; I'm trying to figure out if I should do a sunset dessert (maybe dessert before dinner...because I'm weird like that), then come back to see fireworks, or if I should just do late night dessert before/during/after fireworks?

Anyone have any input?
