I am surprising my mom (who lives in the UK, but will be visiting) to a Disneyland visit on her 60th birthday with all her nieces & nephews, we are all over the world, so it will be the first & sadly probably last time we manage to do this as a family!:sad2:

I have booked a Goofy's kitchen dinner on her actual birthday - any other suggestions to make her day special? I am planning on waking her early on her birthday & whisking her off there

Thanks oh worldly ones :worship:

Did you reservations know it is a Birthday dinner?

Do you live nearby so you could grab a birthday button in advance? You could get them at World Of Disney or at any of the hotel desks if unable to casually enter the parks.

Would you want to do a tour for this occasion?
Maybe the F! dessert viewing so you could sit in chairs.

No advice for making her day more special, after all, she's going to be at DISNEYLAND on her BIRTHDAY with her FAMILY! There isn't anything more special! What a good daughter you are!!! Can't wait to hear about her day!

I was also going to suggest the Fantasmic! dessert package. I don't know how many are in your party, so the total could be quite pricey, but it might be worth it if everyone is willing to chip in. Could be an amazing way to end the trip. We really enjoyed our experience with it last April.

Be sure to get a group photo in front of the castle or some other favorite location.

Just being there together will be special, so enjoy the magic. :wizard: Sounds like it will be a great trip.

Oh thank you - I hadn't heard about the Dessert package - I'm looking it up now! I'm a little far to go grab a button - we are a couple hours away. Thanks for the advice - I'm really excited about it :cool1:

I agree with Tony, she would love Fantasmic.
