For 2 adults.

My DH and I are going 12/8-12/11, so I will need 2 dinners. The only one I know for sure is Yachtsman for DHs birthday on the 10th.

We have been throwing around alot of ideas Narcooses, The Boathouse, Flying Fish( I think it will be reopened), the new STK. maybe the new Fultons, Coral Reef, LeCellier...seems like so many great choices

We will be relying on Disney transportation and only have 3 days to do Christmas in WDW. We are food people and price is not really a factor. Have been to WDW many times with kids this is our first couples only trip.

What do you recommend?

Out of the ones you listed, I would opt for the Flying Fish if it's reopened.

People have mixed opinions on Narcoosees from what I have seen on here; we thought it was just "ok." We are from New England and are used to really high quality seafood so the lobster there missed the mark for us. The great thing about Narcoosees though is the location and I would consider it one of the more romantic spots for dinner as a couple. You could do a late dinner and watch the fireworks from there. Another option for doing that same kind of thing would be California Grill.

The boathouse I have heard is very loud, not sure if that's an issue for you. Coral Reef and Le Cellier wouldn't be considerations for us for a nice dinner. I have no experience with new STK or what the new Fultons will be like but we enjoyed the old Fultons.

If $$ is not a factor I would also consider Victoria and Albert's as the food is amazing and the experience is top notch. People also rave about Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Have fun!

Given you're likely doing Yachtsman I'd say mix it up and go seafood. If Flying Fish has reopened I'd give it the nod, otherwise Narcoossee's is a great view and good food as well.

Not Coral Reef. I would put their food quality on par with Red Lobster. Flying Fish would be a good option. My fave Signature options are Artist Point, Jiko, Flying Fish, and the Yachtsman. Since it doesn't sound like you're on a dining plan, I HIGHLY recommend Todd English's Bluezoo at the Dolphin.

Thanks for the replies.

Not on the dining plan.

I looked at the menu for Bluezoo and it seems to have a lot of Asian influences. Is that the case? My DH is not a huge fan of Asian flavors.

We've eaten at bluezoo many times and never noticed an Asian influence. The food and service are amazing. Definitely my favorite restaurant in WDW.

You don't mention where you are staying? Though I love bluezoo and the new Flying Fish sounds awesome, since you are already eating in the EP resort area, I'm wondering if you want to change up the atmosphere a little? If so, I would consider Artist Point at WL. It's great and will be beautifully decorated for Christmas. The Boathouse is also very good and will give you a chance to check out DS. We also really love Monsieur Paul in EP.

My vote is for Flying Fish. The food is really good there.

We had an awesome 15th anniversary dinner at Jiko on our last trip. Very personalized, attentive service, and the food was fantastic (good wine list, too). Plus the Christmas decorations at AKL are beautiful!
