Help with 1st Xmas 2004 trip!

I'm a newbie to all these boards.. I need help planning our first trip for the Xmas Holiday, have been to disney several times, 2 moderates (PO) and 1 value.. ready to splurge for the Polynesian.. but my DH doesn't want to pay $250+ a night?! Is it too early to make reservations? any help with discounts? We are planning for 12/3-12/7.. isn't this the "Value" season? Where do you get the $199 rooms?? I noticed alot of you say you already have reservations.. should I do this now through CRO and hope for a discount to come up? Please help me.! Thanks!!!

hi there....and welcome..yes that is value season.......we will be there at the same time you are.........we are staying at the pop century........we stayed there in february and loved it......anyways there are supposed to be some deals coming out on march 9th..not sure what all of them are....but you can always book now and then if something good comes out switch your reservations....
