I have two reservations on hold for next summer. 4-night Wish stops at Nassau and Castaway Cay. 5-night Fantasy ($1000 more!) with Nassau and two Castaway Cay.

But now I am also seeing these 6-night Fantasy ($40 more than other Fantasy) with stops in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Castaway Cay (have been here twice). 7-night Fantasy ($400 more than 5 night) with stops at Tortola, St. Thomas, Castaway Cay (have only been to CC.)

I want my daughter to have one last cruise in the clubs. This will be her first time in the teen club as our previous trips were canceled. :( Thoughts on Wish v Fantasy? Is the $1400 worth 3 more nights? We've never done anything shorter than 7 nights. We love sea days. She loves to snorkel but doesn't bike so I want to arrange an excursion were she can snorkel with a group.

What is most critical for your vacation: the Ship, the Time, or the Money?
Not the money. I guess it is between the ship and the time. I haven't seen any reviews of the Wish's teen club yet which will make my daughter nervous. I know they will be out by the time we sail, but she will want to know now. :-) We've never been on the bigger ships and we are both a little nervous about that. She has autism and worries that it will be too crowded/loud for her.

While I can't wait to see The Wish, I prefer longer cruises.
My son and his family are doing The Wish In February but we have a B2B booked on The Wonder out of San Diego in January. We decided to keep The Wonder and see Catalina Island and have 7 days instead of 4.

Longer always better for us, plus The Fantasy is a beautiful ship as are the ports you'd be stopping at.
What does your daughter think?

The Wish/Fantasy are both huge ships compared to Magic/Wonder. If your DD (and/or you) are worried about larger crowds, go with the shortest cruise.

I'll talk to her this afternoon when she gets out of school.

The Wish and Fantasy are similar sizes.

I would always go for the longest I could afford.

We're doing the Wish in January so we can try it out, but otherwise I would always pick longer over shorter, and as much as I love Castaway Cay, I don't really need a Double Dip.

We did the EC on the Fantasy in 2019 and it was amazing...my favorite cruise so far! My teens loved the clubs and made great friends being on a longer cruise.

Thanks everyone. Spoke with DD and she immediately said longer is better since the size is basically the same. I'm really happy as I was leaning that way. Now to try to find a nice snorkel excursion. :-)

I love the Fantasy, and I love 7 night cruises. In fact, I don't think we will sail the Wish unless it gets moved to longer cruises. It's too hard to leave after 7 days, I can't imagine only 3 or 4 days, and I wouldn't be too interested in a back-to-back unless the cost was comparable to a 7 day. I think you will have a blast and won't' regret it.

7 days anytime!!! My daughter makes so many friends in all the clubs. We’ve been on 11 cruises and she met great friends in vibe and edge. They hang out and do stuff together! There is a vibe snorkel adventure as the group they go

Yeah, we always cry when it is time to leave. Even after our PC 2 week cruise we were all so sad and crying at breakfast.

Honestly, I would wait on the Wish. Like a new piece of technology, a new restaurant, etc. there are always kinks that need to be worked out once it's actually up and running. Something unforeseen always comes up. Plus, the Fantasy's destinations are better.
