Hi guys,

Just wondering exactly what is the difference between the views at wilderness lodge? Can you see the magic kingdom from certain rooms, and if so can you pay to have that view? Thanks?

best advice is do a search and find the WL thread. It has all that info in it and much much much more

You really need to check out the WL FAQ thread. It has a wealth of knowledge about room requests.

There are different views with different costs (standard, woods, courtyard, inner courtyard, and concierge).

There are possible MK views but very few because of the trees.

To request a MK view the best you can do is put this no your ressies:

(5-6th floor, north wing, MK view).

This does not guarantee anything and as far as I know you can not pay extra for a room with specific MK view.

BTW - We did the above in July. Had booked a woods view room but was given a double upgrade to inner courtyard view upper floor and although we didn't have a view of MK we had a wonderful view of the pool/lake area and loved it.

The North Wing of the resort faces toward the MK and the Contemporary - although calling it a MK view would be charitable :-) These are rooms with low room numbers.

We stayed in room 5012 and had a decent view of the monorail, the Contemporary and (at a distance) the MK - through the Pine trees. It was great fun at night to watch the MVMCP fireworks over the MK and around Seven Seas lagoon. And in the morning watching the Monorail approaching the Contemporary was fun.
