I've been to Disney many times and worked the College Program however I've always stayed standard view rooms at the following resorts POFQ, CSR, CONT, CBR, and POR. We are planning our trip Dec. 6th-13th 2003 with 3 Adults- my Mom, DH, and myself then 2 kids DD 1 month shy of 3yo, and DD 1.5. Here are our options for 7nts.
Poly Con. $1834 ($262per day)
Cont. Jr. Suite $1171 ($167per day)
POFQ $519 ($74 per day)
That is including Taxes
I think these are good prices?
The 1.5 yo dd will still be in a pack and play
Help me decide

My opinion is it depends upon how much time you will be at your room and using your resort.

If you are plan on using the room as a place to sleep/shower and spend most hours at the parks -- then you cannot go wrong with the $74 a nite at POFQ. Not sure if you can have 5 in a room. See if you can get PORS and stay in AB (5 allowed) at the $74 per nite.

If you are planning on using the resort a lot and do not plan on trying out places to eat. Then the Poly Conc is a good deal. Again, you need to take advantage of the food/drinks to break even, this means less time at the parks.

The CR junior suite will give you more room but its more than double the POFQ price. This is a great choice if you want more room, the extra's of a deluxe resort and still want to dine out.

Good Luck!

I think you'll be too crowded in PORFQ. The beds are only full size. With a cot for your 3 yo and something else for your 1.5 yo the room will be packed to the wall with beds. Great price, but just too crowded.

The Poly concierge would be a nice perk if you'll be spending alot of time in the resort and you can afford it. Personally I don't think it's worth that amount of money, but That's just my opinion. I've never stayed concierge so I'm not the best person to ask on this.

The CR junior suite sounds like the best option. The price seems like a very good deal and you should have enough room to comfortably fit everyone. Plus the location of the Conteporary is great.

I think I would pick either the Poly concierge or the junior suite at the Contemporary since they are so convenient to the Magic Kingdom. I personally prefer the theming at the Poly, and I have really enjoyed the concierge there too. They have been very polite and helpful on my two stays there, and the concierge food is delicious! Plus, the view of the castle/fireworks from the lounge is great!

As much as I love PO-FQ, I think you will be WAY too cramped in one room with 3 adults and 2 kids. Also, consider your husband.. he may not really want to be in the same room with his mother in law (I know my husband would be extremely uncomfortable). My suggestion would be for the same money as it would cost you to stay in a suite at the Contemporary, why not get connecting rooms at PO-FQ? This is what we did when my parents went with us, and it worked out great. When we wanted together time, we opened the door, and when we didn't we closed the door. Also, that way the baby doesn't have to sleep in the Pack and Play (also cramping the room) and perhaps your older one would want to stay with grandma? It will also give you 2 toilets, 4 sinks and 2 tubs, expediting the morning getting ready chores. This would also work at PO-R, but I think for a family with small kids, PO-FQ is more convenient.

If you don't want to do 2 rooms, then I would go for the suite at the Contemporary... it would still give you more space... and you would be in walking distance of the MK.
