Hello! My family and I will be going in June for 4 nights/5 days - Friday to Tuesday. We are only going to Magic Kingdom and Sea World. Can someone out there help me in deciding which park to go to first. We will also be doing the Dixie Stampede on Sunday evening. You're help is greatly appreciated!!

Ok, few things. When you say Magic Kingdom, do you mean Walt Disney World? There are 4 parks in Walt Disney World- Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM Studios. Each of those parks will take a MINIMUM of one day each, and that's a minimum. You still will not see or do everything.

Or did you mean that you'll just be going to the one park, Magic Kingdom?
Traditionally, Saturdays are the worst day to go to MK. What are your dates in June? You'll want to look here:http://allearsnet.com/tp/ohours.htm for operating hours of the park for your dates

Hello - Yes, MK - WDW theme park. We arrrive June 3rd, Friday, late in the afternoon. I thought about doing MK on Saturday (but now your saying that Sat. is the busiest) and going to SW on Monday. We really are limiting ourselves to just these 2 parks because of 2 elderly parents and a 4 year old. What are your suggestions? Should we do SW first and do MK on Monday? Reason Sunday is a no-can-do is because the parents would like to see the Dixie Stampede show (no shows on Monday).

I would go to Sea World on Saturday and then do MK on Monday. Be prepared that it will be more crowded(both places) but not unbareable. I always try to save the best for last anyway. KWIM? :flower:

Yes, do Sea World on Sat., MK on Monday. Save the best for last!!!

I know that some of the guides say that Monday is a better day to go to MK--sorry. They're wrong. It's not unusual for our ferryboats (which hold 600 guests each) to run full from the first boat until late am, early pm. Then they start coming in again late afternoon. Sunday is typically a travel day and people arriving always want to do "Disney" on their first full day, which is Monday--they want to see the castle.

Can you switch the stampede to Saturday, sw, mk sunday, and sw monday?

Another thought is do Sea World last. Sea World to me is more laid back, slower paced. I think Sea World is a nice way to wind down the vacation. :bounce:

 My DH and I will be staying at the Poly for 4 days (Sept.22-25). I too am trying to figure out which parks to do on which days. We decided to only do Epcot, MGM and MK. We leave Sun. morning for 4 days on the Wonder :Pinkbounc :bounce: :cheer2:  . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :flower:

Hello, Thank you for your suggestion. That will probably be a good idea - going to SW on Sat. and doing MK on Monday - just found out that GAY DAYS will be celebrating in MK on Sat. - which means that MK will really be crowded (since they are expecting this year to be the biggest celebration). So, thank you again!

That is one of my ideas - do SW last - but we can go to SW twice - 2nd day is free!! So I can go on Sat. and again on Mon. - (that is if we do MK on Sunday)

Thank you!!!
