Help!!! Which fabric to use???

I am not a seamstress...at all...and I'm trying to make a dress (Giselle) for MNSSHP (with MIL's help). Can anyone please give me advice on fabric? The fabric design comes in several choices, but I'm debating between Kona Cotton or Silky Faille. It's still pretty warm at Disney in October, so I don't want it to be real heavy.
