We will be at Universal, Thursday, October 26, I believe it is a night of the HHN. My family is a family of 4 (kids 12 and 8) and 3 grandparents who are 60.
I expect to get to the park at opening and not sure of the order of touring???
We do want to do Mummy and most of the other rides can anyone PLEASE help?
Do you think we should pay for the express tickets?
Do you think the park will be unusually croweded this day?
Do you think it would be better to go on Tuesday, October 24???
Please help me.
Thank you.

Hold off on purchasing express until you have been in the park for a while to see how busy it is. If the majority of the attractions have wait times of 20 minutes or less dont bother with express as it is non-refundable and with wait times that low you really just dont need it. The best thing to do is be there when the gates open and head straight back to Mummy then proceed into San Francisco and around the lagoon back to the front of the park. Keep in mind that even tho the official opening time for the park is 9am the gate actually opens at some point between 8:40 and 9am. Once enough of the attractions are up and running and ready to go they go ahead and start letting people into the park. Try to be at the front gate ready to go by 8:30am and you'll be right there when they open and can get a head start on all the folks who wait till after 9am to show up. there are two main rushes of guests in the morning, the first lasts from when the gates open till around 10am, then there is another rush around 11am from the folks who decided to sleep in just a bit. Also keep in mind that if the park does turn out to be busy you can purchase the express passes at three different merchandise locations inside the park so you wont have to go all the way back up to the front, just keep and eye out when you pass by the various shops, the ones selling express passes will have a somewhat large rolling sign in front of them with the express plus logo on it.

Thank you very much. I am going to write down your info. for my touring plans. Thank you again. :thumbsup2
