Help..where to get married?

Need some advise...my DF and I are planning to get married in Florida prior to our disneymoon at WDW. The question is where???? We are having trouble deciding; we know that we want it on the gulf side, on a beach and at sunset! Any ideas??? DF is just not to into the idea of a WDW wedding. This will just be the 2 of us!! TIA!!!

how about along the Panhandle of Florida - some great places - Destin, Fort Walton - even Panama City Beach is beautiful at sunset....Especially now that they are tearing down the cheap places and building very, very expensive places (don't know if this is a good thing)

this is NOT on the way to Orlando - but it is a great location!!! You will have to go several hours out of your way.

Beautiful white sand, sunset to die for, nice little waves....

otherwise Clearwater BEACH (not town) it is close to Tampa. (this is around 2 hours from Orlando)

My mother in law and brother in law live in St. Pete Beach, FL. They both got married (not to each other, of course) at a hotel called The Bilmar in St. Pete Beach. They have beautiful pictures of them on the beach at sunset. The reception place there wasn't that fancy, but nice enough. Here is a link to their website

I am not necessarily recommending this place over others as I haven't looked into weddings on the beach. But as a guest at both of their weddings, it was beautiful on the beach.

Siesta Key is really pretty, too! It's a little further south. We always take great sunset shots there - very pink. My borther in law works at a place on Longboat key (same general area) that does a ton of weddings, Longboat Key Club. But it's expensive. There are other places on Longboat Key.
