HELP - Where to Eat New Years eve???

Hello,

I just phoned reservations to make a new years eve booking at Blue lagoon. They advised that there will be a set menu and told me it would cost £476 for 4 adults and 1 child, that is the cost of our whole trip!!

Can anyone suggest somehwere to eat, where I can pre-book a meal for 4 adults and 1 child that wont cost the earth!!! Apparently all of Disney will be set menus on new years eve costing about the same.

Erm, I'm afraid I'd just bite the bullet and go to McDonalds for the night!! There is no way on this earth I'd be paying £500 for a meal......Aaaargh!!! I'd eat at McD's, then have a nice meal out instead the next night, when sanity has been resumed. *Tsk*

We are hoping to have a decent late lunch, and then a snack in the evening (hoping Bella Notte will be open) - we will also be four adults and one child. On the 30th or 1st we want to have a good character meal, probably at Inventions. It is stupid some of the prices that they are asking, especially when they have already put up the prices for all the other parts of the trip, the best value appeared to be Billy Bob (I think that it is called) in the Disney Village. We want to be in the park enyoing the atmosphere, and an expensive meal is not a necessary part of that.

Yes, we want to be in the park too, and as our plane lands at 15:30 on the 31st I was hoping to be able to get a reseravtion that didn't cost the earth in the parks so that we had one less thing to worry about, as it is going to be a very busy day. We are staying at Explorers, so I have just emailed them to see if we are able to book a table there. I just hope the food is good!!

Oh my Obviously there must be a demand at this level but I'd be going to a counter service restaurants

Just look at the pricelist I put on the board. Its all the same, very very pricy !!!

We had to book for 24 and 25 december at these prices.
My solution? I refuse to look at the bill.
