Please help! We are headed to Disney March 14th - 20th 2009 for our DD & DS 7th birthday. They are B/G twins. Travelling with us will be me, DH, both sets of grandparents and our other set of B/G twins who will be almost 11 months old (it will be their 1st Disney trip).

I really want this trip to be special for the older kids. It may be the only time all their grandparents are with them at Disney. We have been to WDW many times but usually eat quick food and do 1 or 2 special meals. (usually Beirgarten).

This times I want their whole day (and trip) to be all about them. Any ideas would be great. BTW their bday is Sunday the 15th.

thanks for your help :goodvibes

I would do Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends.
CP can handle large familes and has many food choices for everyone in the family. Plus the character are fun. The kids will each get cards from Pooh and friends and special cupcakes.
Congratulations on have 2 sets of twins ;)

What about the Garden Grill in Epcot? It has Mickey, Pluto, and Chip and/or Dale. My 7 yr. old b/b twins really enjoy eating there. They like the Mickey characters, and they love that the restaurant is revolving while you eat.

Coral Reef would also be fun with the tank and the game of identifying the fish. They can also write their names in the desserts.

Chef Mickey's is fun.

You could also go to the T-Rex restaurant opening up in DTD. It looks like a great place for kids.

Best wishes!

I second Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's. Neither is princessy.. just fun characters.
Also the Tusker House breakfast in Animal Kingdom is one I am pretty excited for as well.
I have a girl (11) who is beyond princesses and a four yr old boy. For us these seemed to be the right meals for both to enjoy themselves:goodvibes

Coral Reef---you can get them personalized menus and maybe a diver to wish them a happy birthday. Also it is such a neat setting.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. We've never done Coral Reef. I think I'll try that for sure. :thumbsup2

We loved Chef Mickey's when they were babies, i'm sure my little ones would love that one too.

We may try the Garden Grille for lunch. DS would love that the restaurant moves.

Any other thoughts for restaurants the rest of the trip?

Characters are a bonus for sure, but I think they would still like that the restaurant moves.

Thanks for giving me a "heads up " though. I will look into the Garden grill more.

Also we may try the Crystal Palace too.
