HELP...where do I find the Brita Fill & Go Water bottles?

I have read about these water bottles on the boards but not where to find them...going in Aug and think I definately NEED THEM!!!

Walmart (with other Brita stuff), Target, Linen's and Things and Kmart.

You can also find them at many places online.

I saw them at a locally owned hardware store in the bathroom section with the brita water supplies.

K-Mart had them on clearance the other day for $3. A package of 2 filters was $2.50.

One of our local Walmarts was sold out of them and the other Walmart in our area didn't carry them, but I found them at Kroger (a local grocery store chain) so if you don't find them right away just keep checking the discount and grocery stores in your area.

I bought mine on Clerance at Kroger a few yrs back. Mine have flag on them. I think I bought after July 4th.

Ditto Wal-Mart. I ended up throwing mine in the trash, I thought the water tasted funny (like the bottle?). I have a Brita pitcher at home and that water tastes great.

I found mine at a CVS drugstore. They also have them at Waldbaums super market.

I live in the New York area so I'm not sure if you have these stores. If all else fails, go online.

i read on these boards that someone tossed their bottle (taste?) and just took the filters and put them in a Dansi bottle of water--according to them, the filters fit perfectly and the smaller bottle was easier to carry and refill.....

Just FYI: all plastic bottles will "out-gas" fumes from the plastic if they are stored airtight.

Remember to wash the bottle out with soap and hot water when you first buy it, and flush the filter thoroughly by running 3-4 bottles of water through it before you start drinking from it.

The best way to store these is to disassemble the cap, drop the filter and the spout into the bottle, then screw on the wide part of the cap. Air will be able to get out of the bottle while it is stored, but you will not lose the parts. I haven't had difficulty with that plastic taste since I started storing mine without the closed cap.
