Hi Everyone!

My friend and I have decided to do Ariel's character dine at DCA on our upcoming trip. I made reservations for both breakfasf and lunch and now must decide between the two. I am not able to find definitive pricing for some reason, my guess is it fluctuates depending on the season, so I was hoping someone might have recent pricing on breakfast vs lunch.

Also, which meal would you all recommend based on your personal experiences? I am incorporating it along with hopefully securing fastpasses to the 1:35 frozen show. The breakfast is at 9:30, obviously no conflict, while the lunch is for 11:30, which could cut getting in line for a 1:35 Frozen show a little close. I don't know which meal to choose! Would love to hear your thoughts!

Call disney dining for prices for your date. They have them. if you are set on the 135 frozen show I would do the breakfast.

I tend to avoid long breakfasts, simply because you can get more rides done the first couple hours after rope drop. If I schedule a sit down breakfast I tend to do it after those first 2 hours, more like a brunch time. Something to consider if rides are a priority as well:) If you're main goal is the character meal and Frozen, then I would do the breakfast so you won't be rushed. Enjoy!

Mama and i did the breakfast a few month ago. I believe around 9:30 and if i remember correctly it was around 90.00 dollars for the both of us. we did sit inside and of course all the princesses came to our table also. Was it a good deal to me probably not but i have done it and won't have to do it again. For a family with younger girls

Last month, the total lunch bill for DD(13) and me was $122.99. We may have paid extra for a light-up cup with DD's meal. If my memory is correct, it took almost exactly an hour from the time we were seated. It did take a few minutes to get down the stairs and to have our picture taken with Ariel.

I think an 11:30 meal for a 1:30 Frozen show is cutting it pretty close. Theoretically it should work, but but while it normally only takes an hour, we've been there when we had to wait a considerable amount of time after our reservation time to get seated. Once there was a problem in the kitchen, must have been some kind of safety issue, and they literally shut the whole thing down for 45 minutes. We were there over 2 hours.

Having said that, I like lunch at Ariel's better than breakfast and also I hate spending valuable park time at a restaurant for breakfast.

If you're set on doing the 1:30 show the same day, I'd do the breakfast. If you could do it another day, I'd do the lunch.

Thanks everyone! I didn't think about the logistics of getting done with lunch and getting to the line for Frozen in time to see the show. 1:35pm Frozen is Mission Critical so we better plan to do the breakfast and give ourselves plenty of time! I appreciate everyone's input and can't wait to meet the princesses!!
