Help!! We might be able to go to WDW in a few weeks..

And I have nothing done! DH has some time off and we are going to try to plan a trip either Sept or Oct. We are looking at either Sept 18-24 or Oct 8-14. It would be me, DH, 3DD's (ages 6,4 and 2) and DS, who will be 1 on 9/10. If we go in Sept- we would be there really close to DS's bday so we would celebrate it there. We would try to stay at SOG, although they currently sold- out part of the week in Oct. If we go in Sept, they are offering 20% off the hotel stay. My only concern with Sept is DH thinks it might be too hot. But then again we are only talking about a difference of 3 weeks.
We would be driving so no airfre is involved. MIL and FIL would also be coming with us like they did last time to help with the kids- they loved it!! Any suggestions?

I would work out the work issue, then the money issue, then the hotel issue..if all those fall into place, start making ADRs and go!! Congrats!!!

Wouldn't the September time slot, allow you to use the Free Dining option? Might save you a few $.

Although the October one you could do MNSSHP.

Work issue is a non-issue- both times are open for DH and I am a realtor so I set my own schedule.

I checked into MNSSHP and it starts in Sept so we can go to that either time.
Is the Free Dining option available when staying at SOG?

I live in FL and don't think heat should be a factor in your decision. Late September and early October is not going to have much of a difference in temperature. Historically, September is the height of hurricane season. But of course, no one really knows and hurricane season runs to November anyway.

I don't think you can get free dining added anymore. Do you want to do a lot of TS meals? If so, you may want to go in October because free dining should be done by then and it may be easier to get ADR's. Or you can try to make ADR's for September before booking your room just to see what's still available.
