I am planning our first disney world trip, we leave in 35 days and I have read that there are many things to do at the different resorts such as campfire singalongs, hayrides, carriage rides among other things. I would like to know if there is a site I can go to that would list the different activities they offer. I went to the disney site under rec. and could not find what I was looking for. Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

Hi Simbas mom,
I don't know of a link that would provide details on resort activities. Can you narrow it down to the resort you are staying at or would like to check out and we might be able to offer more assistance.
I know from my experience with the WL, there are several activites....
Hidden mickey list
Surrey bike rentals, to pedal to FW on a wooded trail. When at FW you can check out the petting zoo and horse stable.
The geiser
Fishing excursions
Water mice rental
There is some sort of duck event in the afternoon?
Electrical water pageant
Lodge tours

Hope this helps

Here's a start for you. Visit the homepage of the DIS here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/ and on the left hand side scroll down to Downtown Disney, Recreation and Just For Kids. This should give you lots of ideas to start out with.

You can find info about the Fort Wilderness activities (campfire, hayrides etc) here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/resorts/ftwildrecreation.htm

And of course, you can always come right back here with any specific questions you may have about any of the activities and we'll do our best to help!
