Help - need someone to help me plan what to do and where to go - hubby, myself and 2 daughters - 11 yrs and 6 yrs. Staying Carribbean Resort - have a car - don't know where to start, but have been told I must plan what we're doing every day!!!!! Anyone got any advice please - laura.hollyer@ntlworld.com Thanks

hi laura, i would get onto those nice people who publish the "brits guide to orlando" , see if they can set up an itinery for you, costs £20 if you have the book, but in my opinion money very well spent, i think you do need to go with some sort of battle plan !!, have a great time anyway.

Laura - check out the Disney website for park hours during your stay. Even if you have a rough idea what parks you would like to visit each day that's a start :)

You could then try to narrow down attractions that are a must do for everyone in your group.

Have you also thought about where you would like to eat, you could call disney anytime now and make a few reservations. CHaracter meals are great fun for kids and adults - our favourites are chef mickets and 1900 park fare!

Another great experience for you girls is the BBB - it's at the world of Disney store - here your girls can have their hair and make up done and made up like little princesses!

Thanks Jockey - I've got loads of stuff printed off the site (hours, EMH, days to avoid, days to visit, etc) and it's just trying to get my head round it to put it into a plan! Didn't take up the Disney dinner plan offer - thought we'd sort that out there!!!!! (big mistake perhaps? lol) and guess what??? ..... I've got me silver crocs ready to go and they've been blinged up too!!!!!! Cheers, Laura x

Welcome to the DIS Laura :yay:

It can be a bit daunting when trying to plan your trip!

Take advantage of the information available on the main DIS site:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwplan.htm

Then if you have any specific questions start a new thread for each one, then you for the 'experts' here on the boards to answer for you :)

Welcome Laura! We stayed at Carribean Beach in October and loved it - one tip is to watch the Epcot fireworks from the beach on resort - it's a great view and you get to avoid the crowds too!

Have a fabulous trip and allow yourself some flexibility with the plans! pixiedust:

Deffo go on the Disney site and look at the different plans that the recommend for your age groups big kids, toddlers, teenagaers etc, it tells you all about height restrictions, who will like what, whats scary, whats not etc. well worth a look!
HTH gems!

Can I suggest you perhaps read some of the trip reports on this website, as this may give you some ideas. :thumbsup2

Good luck
