I am looking for some advice in planning. I have never been to disney and am venturing in May with a DH, DD, DS ages 4 and 5. We are staying at CBR for 4 nights and then WL for 3. Trying to plan an itinerary with Seaworld. Here's my thoughts, what do you think?

Arrival - chef mickeys for dinner
Day 2 - MK not sure about what dinner to do, possibly go to MGM for dinner
Day 3 - Animal Kingdom (dinner at resort)
Day 4 - Epcot (Princess Storybook Breakfast or Garden Grill for lunch)
Day 5 - transfer to WL in am - boat over to MK
Hoop dee doo for dinner at Fort Wilderness
Day 6 - Seaworld (Wispering Canyon for dinner)
Day 7 - MGM Studios (50's prime time for lunch) (Ohanas for dinner)

Trying to stay in the Epcot, MGM, AK areas while at CBR, then do MK and other restaurants while at WL.

Any other advice would be appreciated. Would love to go to Cape May Cafe but don't know how to fit into schedule. Thoughts?

Day 2 - If you are already at MK eat at Ohana's that day, just a short monorail ride to the Polynesian. Or try Liberty Tree. I love getting the last available seating, then I get to be in the park well after closing.

Day 4 - Princess Storybook for breakfast then head out to Cape May Cafe for dinner (I'm assuming you mean for dinner and not breakfast). It's just a short walk from Epcot's back entrance (International Gateway)

Day 5 - Maybe add Crystal Palace for a late breakfast or early lunch.

Day 7 - Love 50's Prime Time for lunch. Add a couple of chocolate shakes to your lunch.

I would limit sit-downs to one a day or yuo will feel like you are running around to meet your PS times.

We did six trips last year with our 4, then 5 yo DS. The schedule that worked really well for him was:

Eat breakfast in room or food court, get to the parks early (30-40 minutes), do all main attractions, eat a counter service lunch early (they open about 11 or 11:30 and are EMPTY at this time) then take a break at the resort, swim and nap. Now, my DS hasn't napped in years, but at WDW he does. We just say he is laying down to "watch TV" with daddy and they both fall asleep. I'ts the combo of the themepark, sun, swim, and then a nice dark, cool hotel room tht does it. He wakes up in GREAT mood and then off to the parks again, About 5pm they really empty out. We usually do a few attractions (hardly any waits at all at this time), do a nice sit-down or character dinner and then see the parade/fireworks. Doing a sit-down lunch and then a counter service dinner also works very well.

I would take advantage of EE days and rent a stroller.

Have fun!!!!! You will love CBR. Request Martinique or trindad north to be close to the main pool and food court

Here's my suggestions:

Arrival - chef mickeys for dinner
I'd recommend the 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Was not thrilled with CM at all.

Day 2 - MK not sure about what dinner to do, possibly go to MGM for dinner
I'd recommend the Crystal Palace at the MK for lunch or dinner. Excellent food & service!

Day 3 - Animal Kingdom (dinner at resort)
Tusker House at AK is excellent!

Day 4 - Epcot (Princess Storybook Breakfast or Garden Grill for lunch)
I'd recommend the Garden Grill. Excellent!

Just curious, what days of the week do your trip days correspond to? It might make a difference :)

Just a few suggestions:

If your kids are morning people you may want to go to the parks that have EE & get many attractions done, then take a break like susy suggested. Believe me, you will need the break, especially with the May heat.

I would say make the PS's for meals you want to do, but bring a cell phone with your confirmation #'s with you so if you have to cancel you can do so with ease. So many times our plans changed as the day wore on.

My #1 suggestion is to just relax & take it easy. Don't fret about things. A day just at the pool can be a blessing in the middle of a WDW trip - you may want to consider this on the day you move to WL. There is so much to do & see, just try to enjoy it without stressing about it.

Looks good! You might want to rethink your plan for ohana on the same day as another sit down meal. Or try to eat lunch early & dinner later. It's just a lot of food at Ohana!

Crystal Palace on your 1st MK day is a good choice, if you like buffets. It does get noisy & crowded though! You could also take the monorail over to Ohana or 1900 park fare.

We do 1 sit down meal a day. We find we eat more at sit down meals-especially buffets:D --so, we don't get our money's worth on the 2nd meal

Have a fabulous trip!
