Ok I have lots of questions about dis cruise. I have free air
fare from last dis vacation(bumped) I will be traveling
with 3 children ages 14, 15, 10. I am a single mom and
this will be our first cruise. We will be traveling in middle of April
Easter ( I work in schools and have to take this week)
I am looking at a 7 day cruise

1. Where are the best deals ( I know this is the best place to find them) any tips would be helpful. I haven't booked anything yet

2. What type of cabin would you suggest we will be on a budget.

I know I will have more questions
Please help! I want to do this for my kids We have been to wdw many times and we want to try something different

If you email anyone at Dreams Unlimited (www.dreamsunlimited.com) they will be more than happy to give you a quote, tell you best stateroom options etc. We are dealing with them and they are prompt in replies and extremely helpful.
I think your kids will have a blast on the ship and cruising during Easter break will be good weather, but the ship will probably be full. Just means you should book now.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

You receive the best rates for early booking. Deposit will be $250 per person and is fully refundable if you cancel up until the final payment is due-- which is 60 days before you sail.

For the four of you --- the most inexpensive route you can go would be a category #11 inside stateroom. This room will have one double bed that can be split in to two twin beds. One sofa that converts in to a twin size bed and the bunk over the sofa for the fourth person. I have pics of how the beds 'split' look like on my website. (linked below) Just click on the cruise icon to enter my cruise pages then click on the secret porthole room page to see a pic of the split beds.

Dave has a pic in the 'stateroom' section of his FAQ in his website at www.dcltribute.com which will show you how the bunk comes out of the ceiling over the sofa.

Go to DCL's official website and click on 'reservations' then click on 'get a quote'. It will take you step by step thru the process to receive a quote for your date. www.disneycruise.com -- then go to dreams unlimited for a very competitive price comparission.

WELCOME TO THE BOARDS!
:p

If having a split bathroom is important, then the least expensive will be a cat 10. Cat 10 also has the infamous "secret porthole" cabins where you pay inside rate for a cabin that has a large porthole with semi-to-fully blocked view (at least you'll get daylight in your cabin.) You can find more details and photos of them at:

Have fun!
