Help w/ Stars&Stripes Buzz for DS

Hoping someone here can help. DS is turning 4 in a few weeks, and has been talking about a "USA" Buzz Lightyear that a friend brought in for show and tell. I didn't think it would be a problem to find (silly me). Turns out that its the "Stars and Stripes" Buzz that came out several years ago! DS really thinks he's getting it for his birthday... he's never been very demanding, and rarely asks for anything in particular, so its never dawned on him that if he asked for something special, it wouldn't happen. He's usually just thrilled w/ whatever he gets.

I've only found one so far, and its already going for a fair amount on ebay. Does anyone have any ideas about where I might find this (if at all possible, at a reasonable price?) I really want to make his day, but things are tough all over as I'm sure a lot of you know... plus, there's no guarantees about winning auctions. I've come close "but no cigar" plenty of times in the past.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (I've seen a few used ones too, but they are mostly listed as "a few scuffs", etc. and have obviously been well loved. I'd rather find him a new one if I could.)

Are you talking about the Buzz Stars & Stripes doll, that talks by chance? If so I know what you are talking about, as I worked at The Disney Store and we sold those. But it's been a couple of years now, like you said. Your best bet is just to keep trying Ebay. I don't think the parks had it, but then I don't know for sure. You could always call and ask if they have anything like that. Good Luck!

It is the doll. Thanks. Yes, I'm watching a few on ebay now. Seems like thats the only way to go... I just don't ever have much luck w/ the auctions so I thought I'd look into other options.
