Okay, so heres what we have planned:

-Chef Mickey's
-Whispering Canyon
-Le Cellier
-Coral Reef
-Biergarten
-Mama Melrose
-Sci Fi
-San Angel

Its no gaurentee that we'll get all of our ADRs but this is what we're hoping for. We have one last ressie to make and are completely stuck!

What we really want: a fun atmosphere
What we don't want: anything in DHS or DTD - or non-traditional food (like Boma, for example)

The restaurants we have thought about: Rose & Crown, Tutto Italia, Chefs de France - but we can't think of anything else - if theres anything we're missing in the hotels, please let us know!

Well, it's JMO but I don't think any of your poll choices really have a fun atmosphere. Nice maybe, but not fun.

I'd consider:

Teppan Edo
'Ohana
Crystal Palace

ETA: How could I have forgotten?? Hoop De Doo Review!! (it's 2 credits though)

We love Ohana. Fun and delicious, especiallythe bananas foster bread pudding

You MUST do dinner at 50's Prime Time... it is a wonderful (home-style) meal, awesome decore, and it is Fun with a capital F! :rotfl:

ESPN Club (Boardwalk)

outdoor dining at Turf Club (Saratoga Springs)

I know you said no DTD, but Raglan Road is lots of fun if you coincide it with the entertainment (Irish Band & Step dancer, usually starting at 9 PM)

Yeah, with fun being the criteria, I'm not sure any of your three are exactly a barrel of laughs.;) Nice, and typically good food, but not necessarily fun.

But, as PPs have already mentioned, 'Ohana would fit the bill. And I'd trade 50's PT for either of your DHS spots ... but that's just me.

ITA!! sorry, even though you said no DHS we love it there, even though I voted for Tutto on the poll

I struggled with my choice because you said "fun". We love both the Rose & Crown and Tutto Italia. I'd have to say Rose & Crown was more casual & fun, though.

I definitly agree with these 3. TE & Ohana for dinner~~~Ohana is our FAVORITE! CP for breakfast. I would have said 50's Prime Time but our last two times that we have been there, It was horrible and the service was really bad. No interaction. So no more 50's Prime Time for us again. I know this is not the norm for 50's PT but twice was enough:sad2: Bye Bye 50's PT, I will miss you

Another vote for Prime Time Cafe...we haver eaten there for last three years and it is so much fun...especially if you get a great server...and the food was great too

I give a vote to O'Hana,s.I love taking my family here for our last farwell to our trip. Our cousin/waiter is always fun ,and makes us,funny enough, feel like family. There is entertainment and fun antics during ones meal, along with a very pleasant dining experience. We enjoy the plentiful sides, the skewers full of grilled meat is tender and satisfying. Now the desert,OMG,just the kiss goodbye that sends me home with a good taste in mouth, for a vaction well spent. For a little something special after dinner,we all venture down to the poly beach and enjoy the fireworks with the music being piped in to the resort. Thats what makes our family leave on a note of ,we had a fabulous time here and cant wait to return. Good luck in choosing, theres a lot of good choices people have given you. Have a magical trip.:wizard:

If I had to choose from your list, I would pick Rose & Crown(Illuminations view). I chose Other on the poll since you're looking for a fun atmosphere you would be better served to pick Ohana or Teppan Edo.

Have fun whatever you choose.

I voted other.... 1900 PF for dinner. Not sure if you ever ate there but the food is good and the stepsisters are great:thumbsup2

What time do you make your reservations for? I have Ohana planned for our last night and this does sound like a new tradition that would be great for my family too! Thnk you for sharing this great idea:hug:

That's what we do too, and we usually try to get our ADR for around 90 minutes before fireworks are scheduled to start. We check in 15 minutes early for our ADR and have always been out in time to get to the beach and get comfortable before fireworks start. The Electrical Water Pageant also goes by the Poly beach at 9:00 pm, so if the timing works out you can catch that as well.

SPOERLX3 I agree with JCEMOM.90 mins sounds right.Hope your family has a very special evening at O'hanas.Don't forget you could request on making your aDRs to have a window seat due to a special occasion. You can watch the fireworks from your table. We personally like the view from beach, but both are magical.:goodvibes
