Hi all!
We are having a hard time deciding where to eat at for our disneymoon. We will be at WDW for 2 weeks, and visiting some offsite parks as well. We are on a budget and do not like fancy stuff, so Victoria and Alberts is out. I tend to be a picky eater, too. I will have an AP and plan to use the DDE, if that helps to narrow things down.
Thanks for any suggestions!

cali grill is nice, its 2 DDP credits and its nice but a couple steps under VA's but not as crazy as some of the other DDPs that are 2 credits. My parents did the luau for their disneymoon in 1981 and got such horrible food poisioning that they spent a few days of their trip in their CR garden room and now refuse to go back and eat there lol. But I've heard that is also nice as well.

I second Le Cellier! You can also get a great meal at Spoodles over at the Boardwalk. And I notice you said you'd be visiting offsite parks as well. If this includes Universal, Margaritaville is not to be missed at Citywalk.

For our Disneymoon we are eating at:

Yacthsman (Our Splurge)
WCC (We are staying at Wildreness Lodge so this is our first night)
50's (My favorite resturant)
Marakesh (A new one for us)
O'Hanas (Where we ate before we got engaged)
Chef Mickeys (Must do every trip)
Donalds Breakfastasaurus (My DF loves Donald)
Crystal Palace (before the Pirate & Princess Party)

We love Lecellier but are skipping it... I am also thinking of adding in Kona and Concourse or the new Italy resturant (so many places to eat so little time)

*I highly recommend California Grill - even though it is business casual, it is way more casual than V & A. I would make your reservation for during the fireworks, and be sure to record on your ADRs that it is your honeymoon!

*A fun place to go, where they are sure to make a big deal of your honeymoon is 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM. The food is fun, you can get an adult beverage, and they will "celebrate" you!

*I also love Le Cellier - make ADR's right away - this one never takes walk-ups.

*I also enjoyed Narcoosee's. My husband tends to be picky (he told the waiter here that he was allergic to "white and creamy" - the chef came to the table to find out what that meant!) and really liked his meal. You can go out on the porch to watch fireworks from here, too.

Where are you staying? I really recommend enjoying your parks and resort at night, in the magic of the lights! Don't forget to visit Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk - it is a dueling piano bar that is SOOO fun!

we enjoyed:
Flying Fish
Spoodles
Artist Point

but all three of these aren't cheap and aren't really the plain and simple kind of food.
They were just three of our faves from our Disneymoon

another thing from our Disneymoon, a few of our servers made us sit side by side instead of across from each other (I think Le Cellier, Flying Fish and the Concourse Steakhouse) and it was quite nice, different but nice. Some of the restaurants tables are a little wide so it makes it hard to talk without being loud. But once the servers made us do it a couple of times it didn't feel so awkward to be sitting on the same side of a booth together and made it all a little more romantic. No more of that though with two kids, one for each of us to share a seat with...lol

Le Cellier would be my vote also. Have ADR on Sept. 25th been there before and was great.
This Sept. also doing Coral Reef,Ohana, Rose and Crown and Captain Jacks
but I haven't been to any of them so I wouldn't be able to recommend any of them till after Sept.
Also going to San Angle and Nine Dragons been there before but I like Chinese and Mexican food.

Since you'll be off site part of the time, I'd highly recommend Roy's at Sand Lake for dinner. It's EXCELLENT, much better quality than the signature restaurants at WDW.

Cheers!
Heather W
