Help us pack - please!!

We'll be there Dec. 2-6. I am packing everything from capris to long underwear. But no shorts. I am always cold, so it is going to be a huge challenge for me to keep from freezing! And it looks like it will be darn chilly here when we fly out, so there's one more thing to factor in!

I am sure DH will bring all jeans, and I'll pack jeans and maybe a wind suit for DS.

Right now there is a HUGE discrepancy in temps between AccuWeather and Weather Channel's websites. The high temps are 11 degrees apart for the same day! I'll keep watching that until Wednesday, then I am going to HAVE to pack!

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhh, weather channel is calling for rain our first 3 days now, I hope accuweather is more acurate and wetaher channel is wrong as they have have it sunnier and a whole lot warmer than the wc!
I packed today, a little bit of everything! We are there dec2-9

Let me first say that I lots of respect for weather forecasters...HOWEVER, that being said....they'd have more luck forecasting Orlando weather if they consulted a psychic (Madame Leota??). I distinctly remember turning on the television to see what the weather forecast of the day (the day!...not the next few days...but the present day) and finding 3 different forecasts on 3 different stations.

I ran into the same descrepancies before we left. Accuweather had a much more optimistic weather forecast than Weather Channel.

The moral of this long rambling story is: it's Florida...you just never know...prepare for everything!! :rotfl:

The biggest tip I can pass to you is pack 5 of each thing - short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, pants, shorts. Pack winter hats and gloves, pack bathing suits, sweaters, suntain lotion and sunglasses.

Then after a few days, send the kids to the arcade and go down to the laundry area and do a few loads. Honestly we've done it every time we've gone and it saves us so much time and effort with the luggage. I know you don't like to have to do laundry, but it will save you a headache of having so much stuff and having to do laundry when you are at home. I went to the dollar store and got a laundry bag because the bags in the room barely hold two pairs of pants.
