Epcot is our favorite park and my kids have loved it from a young age. We are also “museum people” and like looking at the stuff about/from other countries while we’re there. I agree to adjust your expectations and look at WS as a chance to slow down. I think it is the perfect place to split up. And from one planner to another, you are not responsible for every single thing for everyone. Make some suggestions, but they can be on their own for a while.
When we did a trip with a big group, some people were really not into Epcot because all they wanted to do was go from one ride to another. My H and I always tried to get the kids to stroller nap at the same time and then we would get an adult beverage and sit down for a few minutes! My SIL looked at me like I had two heads when I told her that was what we were doing, lol.
