Help Us Decide!

Hello DisBoards Friends!

We currently have a trip booked for the second week in November. I had it in my mind that the Christmas decorations would be up at the resorts and Holidays Around the World/Candlelight Processional would have started already. I don't know what I was thinking!

We'll...I'm now looking to move the trip to December 3-9 and would like to stay at a value for financial reasons. As of right now Pop Century, Sports, Music and Movies are all the same price. My concern is that Pop Warner starts when we will be there and I have not heard good things about staying at the value resorts. We don't really care about crowded food courts as we only eat breakfast at the resort. We'll also be out of the room for the whole day and probably be back between 9 and 12 at night. We're hoping for a quiet room where we won't be disturbed late at night or be woken up really early. We stayed at French Quarter one year during this time and had no problems.

So here's the question...Which resort should we stay at? What were your experiences when staying at one of the values during Pop Warner?

I voted for Pop, cause I think most of the Pop Warner people stay at the All Stars.

POP is the best. We love it!! It also has its own buses, they dont share with another resort`.

Pop for sure, especially with the bus service!

We prefer POP as well. Much nicer value resort and the added benefit of being walking distance to AoA. Beautiful lake views from some of the standard view rooms as well. Request a view away from the pool and facing the lake. So peaceful!

We really like the All Stars and Sports is our favorite. We like how compact it is and the newly remodeled food court is great. You have the other 2 All Stars amenities to use if you'd like. And one of the biggest pluses is if you're waiting for a bus back to your resort, you can just hop on the first All Star bus that shows up and walk over to yours. We have done this many times and it's such a time saver.

I have stayed at Christmas from the 13th - 23rd. I honestly do not know if that was during Pop Warner. If they were there I did not notice. We always stay in 50's section Building 1.
