So we are trying to add some new places to our ADRS and our touring plans have led us to the Beach Club area one night and DTD another. After looking at menus, etc., we are down to Cape May Clam Bake vs. Captain's Grille and Turf Club vs. Boatwrights. We are a party of 5: me and DH plus my mom (first trip) and DS 12 and 9. Any thoughts or suggestions? I thought Cape May might offer more choice than Capt. Grille and that Boatwright's is out of the way, but both of the other ones have great sounding entrees on their menu as well. I mean how can you go wrong with crab legs or filet with mac and cheese??

Help! :goodvibes

I enjoyed Cape May when I went. My neighbors were just at the World and did Turf Club at SSR - said it was an amazing steak!

For your Beach Club area night Cape May is the way to go.

As for your DTD night, I would go with either WPE or EoS (both are counter service). We like the food better at both of these places rather than TC or Boatwright's. TC and Boatwright's are nice if you are staying at their respective resorts, but we wouldn't go that far out of our way for either. However, if you must choose one, TC is better than Boatwright's IMO.

Turf Club is one of the most unrated and unknown gems in WDW. The food is amazing and the service is as well. We truly loved the food and the experience.

Cape May is good but it is a buffet. Food seemed to turn over pretty quickly but remember it is made in mass quanties. Food choice is large but nothing is outstanding in taste...just good or okay. The atmosphere is really calm and nice. But we prefer the breakfast there with the characters. In fact we love the breakfast there.

We enjoy buffet breakfasts in WDW but try to avoid lunch and dinner. The food is just not as good as a table service. That is just us ;)

Cape May is a nice buffet, and we always enjoy it when staying at the Beach Club. Of your 2 choices in the BC area, I would go there. You might also think about some of the restaurants over at the Boardwalk. There are some good options there that are close to the Beach Club!

Thanks for all the help. I just booked a Cape May and I think I'm going to book Turf Club as well. I can always change my mind... :lmao:
