You'll notice a number of threads I've started with similar subjects. We're getting close to the 60 day window for booking excursions (like, tomorrow ) and we haven't yet made up our minds.

We've narrowed our Key West choices to two: a) the Catamaran Sail & Snorkel Tour, and b) the Western Union Schooner Day Sail. For those of you who have done one or the other, what were your impressions? Would you do them again? How was the appeal for children - ours are 13 & 11. Thanks for your imput.

If I were booking excursions thru DCL for Key West, I would go for the Catamaran sail. I have friends who have done similar trips and loved them.

BTW -- We are not going to book anything in KW; just play it by ear since there is so much to do there on your own.

We did the Catamaran snorkel during an unscheduled stop in Key West in October, 2000. I thought it was very enjoyable. If your kids like snorkeling, it should be fun for them, too. There were tons of kids on our trip. The crew was very good with them and they seemed to have a good time overall (that is, the Catamaran crew, the crew of the Magic is good with kids, too, but that goes without saying....).
