I'm in the process of really getting serious about planning our 2007 trip. But I need some help!

I heard good things about going early February (leaving the weekend before president's day), saying that crowds were light and manageable, but weather was unseasonably cold.

I haven't heard much about early March. Maybe the first week of March. How are crowds and weather?

We want to spend about 8 days/7 nights and want to use our points at VWL.

Is the weather not much different between March and April? It is less points for us to go in February, but I don't want to freeze our butts off! (we're desert rats!)

Thanks for your help!

Last March temp in the 50 in the morning, but got into the 70 in the afternoon, great weather for doing the parks.

We were there between March 1-10 this year, and the weather was spectacular! Highs in the 70's and a few 80's with lows around 50.

We were there the end of Feb. at the end of President's Week, and it was chilly, I thought. Everyone told us that March is much warmer--which it is at the end of March. I have no personal knowledge of the beginning of the month, though.

We were there this year in Jan which was cool and windy and in March which was beautiful. We were there March 20-26 and it was perfect. The crowds were not too bad and the weather was in 70's during the day and maybe 50's at night. We would wear sweatshirts at night and it was great. I however do not love the 80+ weather. Good luck whenever you decide to go because to me even when it rains in Disney it still seems fine. Your in Disney!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am normally there around March 19 to the 25th or so and it had been a heat wave every year for the last few years. (Other than this year, we went late in April instead.)

February has an occasional cold morning, but it always warms up to mid 70's or so by midday. As long as you don't try to do anything 'important' before sunrise, you should be just fine.

March can be quite interesting-I moved to FL March 3, 1986. There were record high temps for March (in the 90's) that year. Quite a change from the "brrrrrr" I'd left in NY. :sunny:

Either February or March should be delightful for your trip. The days will be both warm enough and cool enough to truly enjoy. :yay:

Best of all-- no hurricane issues-- :rotfl:

I would make your decision fairly soon as the 7 month window is rapidly approaching.

We personally like the early February, but keep in mind that our feelings are not hurt if we don't get to swim. We wore shorts and sweatshirts most of the time and loved it. The crisp clear days made up for that rainy dreary one. I'm actually worried that we will be miserably hot on our late September trip.
