Help! Trying to make picture menus for my autistic son!

Hi all!!!
I am currently trying to make picture menus for our November trip for my DS. My husband gave me the dining package for our next trip as a Christmas present!
I got a lot of what I needed from the Post Picures of food thread. The Pix there were GREAT!!! I am missing some things from CS. If anyone has any pix to share from cs at Backlot Express, Cosmic Rays, Pinocchios, Pecos Bills, Pizza Planet or Casey's I would be forever grateful. My DS is non verbal and these pictures will help him very much!! I am also looking for any pictures of snacks from the DDP.

I googled for an hour last night - I could find Mickey Bars and Rice Krispie Mickey's, but nothing for Casey's Hot dogs -

I was wondering if you have the menus, like Casey's is just hot dogs and fries right (from allearsnet.com) then maybe make a "generic" picture card for hot dog, maybe a pic of the front of the restaurant like Casey's which google did have plenty of...

When I first joined the Dis, there was a poster that lived near WDW and did often do reviews of food, with pics of EVERYTHING - it was an awesome website - and it was way before the food pics on this thread...

I have since lost that url, and not even sure if its up, or who the poster was.. is....

THought I'd post maybe someone will read this and it will jar a memory!!

At most of the counter service restaurants there are big pictures up on the menu above where you order of each item. Actually I can't think of one cs where I haven't seen this.

And even the snack carts have photos of the items for sale.

Remember- Disney has a lot of guests who don't speak english.

Here is my picture from Pecos Bill's. It's the pulled pork sandwich, and in the background is my DH's hamburger (he had already put pickles and I don't know what else on it, when I took this picture). The pulled pork sandwich includes baked beans which you can see in the picture, and off to the right side of the picture is the "peanut butter brownie mousse" dessert cup they have there. Hope this helps

I am taking an adult trip to the world in June and I can snap photos of anything you dont have by then.... just let me know...

and I agree.. I would call WDW and see if they happen to have this covered already.

Great idea! I never thought of it, but maybe it's good I didn't. DD is on the spectrum and if we had done this on her first trip I could picture her freaking out because there were more fries on the picture than on her plate.

That's it!! I loved those reports from there!! Great pics too - -

not so much of the food from the CS services, so many places i checked have pics of the outside of the places (which helps in locating them when you get there!!)

I agree with the other posters, call Disney, I'll bet they could provide picture menus... and the other suggestion of being careful of pictures being "too good" - That's a big gripe of ours with Steak and Shake restaurant - the pics of the fries are HUGE, and you get a tad!!

Thanks to EVERYONE!!! I'm preparing MONTHS in advance so that he can get familiar with the pictures. His picture book contains how to get from FW to each park and restaurant (if in a resort), each attraction (including pictures of queues and exits if possible), menus and restaurant photos. The last trip I though I was prepared but I wasn't even close. Everytime we tried to transition from one activity to another he became very aggresive. Dh and I came home bruised and bloody. The trip actally was overall success, but I hoping to improve this one in a BIG WAY!
